how we work on it.

Six stages of change, three domains, and one question: what do you need most right now?

What we work on
The framework

the Nova Method

The Nova Method is the framework that guides our work together. It’s the lens I use to bring well-established, evidence-based approaches into one coherent process, shaped around you. It keeps us anchored to the goals you came in with, while leaving room to process whatever everyday life brings into the room, so the work stays both purposeful and responsive to where you actually are week to week.

In practice, it organizes therapy two ways: six stages of change — how the work unfolds over time — moving across three domains — mind, body, and relationships — that we tend to together.

So the question is never really “what technique should I use?” It’s “where are you in your process of change, and what do you need most right now?” The work is organized around that process, not around loyalty to any single model.

It’s also the shared language I bring to clinical supervision, the same framework guides my LCMHC-A associates as they grow into their own way of practicing.

What we attend to

three domains

Whatever stage of change you’re in, the work moves across three connected domains. Real growth happens as they shift together, not one in isolation.

01

Mind

“What am I telling myself?”

The thoughts, beliefs, and stories running underneath. We notice the narratives you’ve inherited about who you should be, understand where they came from, and question the ones you’ve outgrown.

02

Body

“What am I noticing right now?”

Stress and anxiety live in the body, so that’s often where we start. I’ll walk you through tracking what you feel physically, then grounding skills to loosen the tension, so your body has a way to come back down along with your thoughts.

03

Relationships

“What patterns keep showing up?”

Attachment, boundaries, communication, and connection. We trace the relational patterns you learned early on and practice healthier ways of relating, starting with the relationship you have with yourself.
